About the shorkk olive collection
The shorkk olive collection is a celebration of Lebanese souri olives from Beino, north Lebanon. Zejd’s extra virgin olive oil is mild, not pungent and sharp, its flavour not too present in your cooking or salads. This beautiful gold tin comes wrapped in gold tissue paper for a festive flourish.
Zejd’s green cracked souri olives and Zejd’s souri black olives are a real treat with a drink or even part of a meal. Decant the required amount into a bowl, add a tablespoon of the brine, a drizzle of Zejd’s extra vrigin olive oil and a squeeze of lemon mix well to bring out the fresh flavour of the olives. Rather than throwing the brine away, add a little of this olive liquid to soups and stews, to create another layer of flavour. It also works wonders in a dirty martini! The glass jar is wrapped in black tissue paper.
Zejd’s pomegranate tapenade is a celebration of Lebanese ingredients. Crushed black souri olives, capers, thyme, rosemary, mint garlic, and Zejd’s tangy pomegranate molasses are blended with red wine vinegar and extra virgin olive oil to create an intensely flavoured tapenade. Delicious spread on bread to accompany a drink. A couple of tablespoons add layers of flavour to a store cupboard bean stew. Have a look at our recipe for butter beans with pomegranate tapenade. The shorkk olive collection will bring a smile to all the olive fans you know!
The shorkk tote is wrapped in black tissue paper. All of the products are presented in a white cardboard hamper with a red ribbon.
Suitable for those on a vegan diet.
