custom made boxes
To make sure Zejd’s beautiful Lebanese extra virgin olive oil 3 litre tin arrives safely, it needs a good box. When we needed to order more, we were dismayed to be told we would have to order 1000 boxes rather than the couple of 100 we needed. Luckily Post Pack Packaging kindly agreed to custom make a box based on the previous one and adorn it with our logo.
Since we have a lot of cardboard boxes from our shipment of Zejd products, we make good use of this as padding to make sure everything arrives safely.
gift wrapping
If you’ve ordered from our gift collection, we will add a gift card designed by Zelfa el Khazen of a “namlieh” or a Lebanese larder. We can write the message for you on the shelves.
packaging
We wrap your items in tissue paper and in a protective wrapping called “hive wrap” rather than bubble wrap. Mindful of choosing a sustainable source of material for packaging, all components are biodegradable and can be recycled to support a more sustainable environment.
delivery policy
Currently we offer shipping to UK addresses only as part of our delivery policy. Should you wish to send parcels to the Highlands and the Channel Islands, please contact us for postage rates in these areas.
Since Royal Mail increased postal charges in October2023, we have had to raise our flat rate to £6.50 on all orders under £75. One address per order.
Orders to one address over £75 are free.
We use either Royal Mail or Parcel Force as we have found them to be efficient and their tracking service works well. We aim to send your orders out within 3 days, we will let you know if we are unable to do this.
returns
We take great care to make sure your items get to you in perfect condition. Sourcing the right boxes and materials is an important part of our business. If your items don’t arrive in perfect condition, please contact us within 5 days of receipt to arrange return.
