Please let us know if you’re giving the 3 tins of EVOO as a present. We are happy to include a card and can write a brief message inside. Designed by Zelfa el Khazen, our card features a Lebanese larder, نملية namlieh, used in the days before fridges. To keep the ants out, the cupboard doors were made with a fine mesh screen. In Zelfa’s design, the doors open and on the shelves, we can write your message.
postage
We wrap the tins in special packing paper called “hive” rather than using plastic bubble wrap. It protects the tins and the paper can be composted. We send parcels by Royal Mail or Parcel Force. Please see our page about delivery for full details.
reusing
We would encourage all our customers to reuse the tins and jars from their purchase. Made in Lebanon, the tin makes a very elegant vase. We remove the top with a tin opener (there’s always an extra teaspoon inside) and peel off the labels. You can then use it to keep herbs in the kitchen or for flowers.
