spring in Lebanon

photos by Lola Gavin
Spring in Lebanon is hard to beat. Origanum syriacum, the main ingredient of Bassatin Bannoub's za'atar mix which we are importing from Lebanon, is flourishing. Broom and irises are flowering in the mountains. For walkers interested in botany, the sheer variety of wild flowers in Lebanon is breathtaking.

If the walkers amongst you need new terrain to cover, their website guides you through the many choices of walks on offer and practicalities such as where to stay.
