The team behind souk el salam are organising another fundraising event in London on 9th June.

This time they found a bigger venue at St James' Church Piccadilly W1J 9LL. Sami Tamimi, Noor Murad and Pierre Malouf have invited chefs and producers to help raise money for the Amos Trust and Medical Aid for Palestinians.

One of our customers enjoys Zejd's pomegranate tapenade for breakfast. We love it with toast too, but came up with this recipe using roasted aubergine as a simple dish for summertime eating.
