"and they destroyed the olive trees"
While we wait eagerly for our pallet to arrive with new stock of Zejd's extra virgin olive oil, olive trees in Lebanon are much on our mind. Visiting villages in the south of Lebanon, people are taking in Israel's devastating destruction to land and homes.
We spoke to an employee from a Lebanese NGO in Beirut who comes from a village on the border and wanted to share their story.

To know more about its health benefits, we've added a shorkk story below. We're all sold out but our new stock is on its way!

If your fridge has a few half full bags of herbs, why not try this Iranian sumac and herb soup recipe?
It's light and nutritious and a great way to celebrate Iranian New Year on 20th March and the first day of spring on the 21st. Sumac is as popular in Persian cooking as it is in Lebanese dishes.
